Goldsmith's Centre exhibit 'Crafted in Colour' at New Ashgate Gallery, bringing together 14 early-career jewellers who treat colour as part of the structure of their work, engineered through anodised niobium, vitreous enamel, PVD coatings, recycled plastics, bio resins, lacquer and dye. In many of these pieces, colour shifts with movement, sits against reflective metals, or is deliberately layered into the form itself.

8th-16th August

Free Entry

This exciting collaborative exhibition showcases the work of a group of established Moray artists and makers who have come together to display the best of their creative work in Logie Long Room.

The theme of this year’s show is Currents and Contours: the nine artists each find their own particular inspiration in the forms and contours of the natural landscape, and the flowing currents of rivers and sea.

There is something for everyone with an interest in art or craft – an inspiring and varied display of paintings, ceramics, wood sculptures and carvings, willow weaving, silversmithing and jewellery.
